The Standard Ibiza

C/ Bartomeu Vicent Ramón 9

Description

It's about time! The Standard has officially arrived in Ibiza. It feels like it's been years in the planning; two kindred spirits destined to be together, finally reunited, with a shared vision and a spirit of adventure that makes this union so exciting.

Located in the heart of the old town, just steps from the promenade along the pedestrianised Vara de Rey, The Standard, Ibiza offers a fresh take on today's Ibiza, while embracing the island's rich past. Housed in a clean, white building with a collection of 53 rooms and suites, plus a separate private residence, the Casa Privada, the hotel boasts bright, eclectic décor and magnificent landscaping.

The ground floor entrance and street-side restaurant literally open the hotel's doors to visitors passing through this historic part of town, offering a menu based on locally sourced produce and a fresh selection of cocktails. The rooftop pool and restaurant offer spectacular views of the iconic Ibiza Castle, with snacks, drinks and sun loungers where you can relax, read and sunbathe.

While it doesn't compete with Ibiza's mega-clubs, The Standard, Ibiza doesn't go to bed early either. As the night wears on and the avant-garde cuisine morphs into more (and more) cocktails, there's an air of seduction and mischief throughout the hotel, as guests drink and dine in the ground-floor restaurant or on the rooftop under the stars until the early hours, getting into all sorts of mischief. It will be open all year round, catering to locals and visitors alike.

The island of Ibiza is a microcosm of all that satisfies and pleases, and The Standard, from top to bottom, reflects that splendour perfectly. And then some.
