Nativ Ibiza Alive is born, a festival that aims to develop collective awareness for sustainability
The first edition of Nativ Ibiza Alive (NIA), organised by the style, culture and agenda magazine Nativ Ibiza in collaboration with the Consell d'Eivissa and the Ibiza Town Hall, will be held this coming weekend, between 25th and 27th November, in the areas of the Parc de la Pau and the Mercat Nou in Vila,
Three days of activities will be held in the area known as l'Eixample in the city of Vila, specifically in the Mercat Nou and the Parc de la Pau to revitalise an area characterised by small, traditional shops and to support them now that the Isidor Macabich works are underway, offering a wide range of free activities including urban art, fashion, workshops, gastronomy, children's games and music.
There will be space for solidarity, gastronomy, documentary screenings, workshops, music, video mapping, performances and opportunities for young and established artists who work on the island of Ibiza and who will create, according to Shadi Saab, works with sustainable materials under the premises of the five R's of ecology, recycle, reduce, reuse, recover and repair. In addition, the Escola d'Arts d'Eivissa has joined the initiative "with an exceptional surprise that will leave no one indifferent".
For all these reasons, the organisers have urged mass participation "and thus transmit a message of hope in this current world, taking advantage of the fact that in Ibiza we are all a little bit artists".
