Your holiday starts here! What to do in Ibiza during a 5-day trip
Our jewel of the Mediterranean is known for many things: countless different environments, beach, sun, gastronomy, culture, nature, sports...
How can you divide so many experiences into 5 days? Let's find out!
Day 1: Arrival and initial exploration
Your adventure in Ibiza begins with arrival at the airport or port, and the transfer to your accommodation, where you will leave your suitcases.
Although there are no long distances in Ibiza, the first day will always depend on where your base camp is.
If you are in the municipality of Ibiza, we recommend you discover the city at your own pace and embark on the rich history of Dalt Vila, UNESCO World Heritage.
If you are in any other town, visit the main church (every town has one) and soak up the atmosphere that surrounds you.
Take it easy, you have 4 more days of adventures ahead of you.
Day 2: Culture and nature
This day combines natural beauty with local culture, an ideal option to avoid spending all your energy at the beginning of the trip.
There are various hiking routes throughout the island that will take you to discover our practically virgin nature, with some surprises along the way.
Some of our favorites are:
- Es Broll de Buscastell: remains of our farming system and a well-preserved water mill, as well as exuberant nature.
- Ruta des Amunts: the north is a practically unchanged place where you can discover our forests, architecture and a well where typical dances were held.
- Route through the coves: Es Portitxol, Cala Llentrisca, Balansat Route or Benirrás Route.
- River Route: a pleasant walk through Santa Eulalia where you will discover all the history hidden in this coastal town.
On the websites of the different town councils, you can explore endless options to satisfy your curiosity.
The only thing missing is the shoes!
Day 3: Adventure and fun
After two relaxing days, venture into the most exciting activities in Ibiza.
In the morning, dive into the blue waters of Cala Xarraca, a site known for its rich marine biodiversity, and practice diving or kayaking.
In the afternoon, experience the thrill of a quad or buggy tour along rural roads, exploring the natural beauty of the island uniquely.
You can also book a sports tour or even go out to discover the sea with a boat route.
Does it sound good?
Day 4: Relaxation, well-being and gastronomy
After an intense day of adventures, rest peacefully and recharge your batteries to enjoy the last day.
Start with a revitalizing breakfast at one of the local businesses in the town where you are staying.
Did you know that we have a wide range of spas in Ibiza? Choose your favorite depending on the area you are in and relax as you deserve. Your vacation is for that, after all.
At noon try some typical Ibiza dishes such as paella, guisat or bullit de peix, sofrit Pagés or typical sausages such as sobrassada or botifarró. Don't forget to order flaó or graixonera!
Spend the rest of the day at a market like Las Dalias or Punta Arabí and take home an unforgettable memory of the island.
Day 5: Sun, beach and goodbyes
The fifth and last day is dedicated to the sun and the beach.
Although it is something that you can intersperse with the activities of the rest of the days, waiting for the flight or boat back on a quiet beach is the perfect option.
You can eat on most of the Ibiza beaches without having to travel much, so enjoy the Ibizan sea and sun until you decide to leave.
But don't worry: we will always be waiting for you in paradise!
